New School Calendar Approved!!

The new 2015-16 school year calendar was approved by the school board at its October 2nd meeting and will be implemented for ALL elementary and middle schools in the San Mateo-Foster City School District. It is a single, blended calendar that offers an opportunity to set breaks that maximize student learning time, professional development for teachers, and minimizes interruptions to instruction.  There will be slight changes to our current calendar as Summer vacation (2015) will be extended to 7 weeks and the Fall, Winter and Spring Intersessions will be shortened to 2 weeks each. The first day of school next year will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 and the last day will be on Wednesday, June 15, 1016.  The new calendar is listed under “Quick Links”.
