Mark your Calendars!! BIES Back-to-School Night will be the evening of Thursday, August 13. Our teachers will share information about their programs. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS NIGHT IS FOR ADULTS ONLY. For the safety of your children, please make child care arrangements for this evening. This is an information session only to learn about what your child will be studying at school this year & the PTA programs available at school. Unfortunately, due to the tight time schedule, teachers will not have time to conference with the parents.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF INCOMING FOURTH GRADERS
Important Information about the Coloma Field Trip for 2015-16
For the past 14 years, Brewer Island fourth graders have had the exciting opportunity to go on an overnight field trip to the Coloma Outdoor Discovery School. The 3 day 2 night trip will be September 16-18. The cost of this unique experience is going to be $265 per student and the fee includes overnight accommodations, activities at the school, seven meals, and bus transportation to and from Coloma. The students will be sleeping in cabins and will be supervised by the Discovery School Staff, fourth grade teachers, and a limited number of parent chaperones. All cash/ cashier’s check/money orders AND forms must be turned in at Maze Day (Aug 11) or directly to Ms. Fahey (room 24) AFTER that day. No personal checks will be accepted. The deadline to turn in your $265 is Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
